Lets go to Belgium...

I wish I really meant that, because a trip to Belgium would be great right about now. But I am actually talking about Belgian interiors. Belgian inspired interiors are beautiful, simple, with a subtly worn, homey, old feel that makes any space feel warm and cozy. These rooms offer beautiful Belgian elements, along with other European influenced details.

This foyer is stunning and makes a powerful entrance.

The abaca carpet complete this neutral space with bright red wing chairs...and check out the french console, LOVE!!

I am loooooving the raw wood ceilings...apparently found in many Belgian homes.

Really liking the old door in the kitchen that serves as a display area for photos...and again the wood ceilings.

Gorgeous bedroom with beautiful (and perfectly placed) Earl chairs.

Wow!!! The old doors that open to a media cabinet are brilliant!! I love everything about this room, the linen sofa and chair and the gauzy window treatments give this space an informal elegance. {Photos via House Beautiful--Designer Kay Douglass}
